It's yet another Sunday. To many, it's an opportunity to go to their various centres, assemblies, places, ministries and churches of worship. To many, it's a mission accomplished, a rite of sorts with its accompanying rituals.
Sermons will be preached; lives will be changed - for the worst. Yes, somebody is going to begin a life of, 'The Bible says....' His thoughts will sync with the preacher's idealogy forever or he'll be damned. Hopefully, nobody's going to find out how much goats and not humans relish eating grass because the pastor sent him or her off to conduct an experiment in the field.
Epiphany is a thing of the mind and heart. It one's play thing when one is willing to set the dogmas apart and begin to experience life. While in Church, take a moment and ask, 'Why am I in this place?'
Many people will discover that apart from the music, camaraderie, sin offering and therapy, they are in church to escape a cantankerous landlord. Okay, let's get back to resolving how to buy you a condominium. It's fair enough; because your preacher is entertaining the same thought - for him and his household who have chosen to serve the Lord.
