The governor of Edo State, Mr. Adams Oshiomole has defended "his oga at the top" President Buhari on his recent appointments, which have been criticized as biased. The governor comes to the president's rescue by claiming that the oga kpatakpata is not biased but making sure that the best hands were called in to work for Nigeria.
Hear him: "The Nigerian nation has come to a point where we have to use the best hands to confront the peculiarity of our problems. It is not all the time we descend to the level of geopolitical balancing; we need to employ unusual methods to solve an unusual problem. The level of decay in the country at present requires very seasoned hands and incorruptible Nigerians that will help translate the APC agenda of change for the benefit of all Nigerians."
Apparently, Nigeria needs the best cooks and thus far, President Buhari has checked their catering certificates (hope they ain't missing *winks) and found them good for the service. Governor Oshiomole adds: “We must not reduce governance to political patronage of bread and butter." For more info on this opinion (orielm) click here. News credit: Daily Post.
