WIELD2LEAD: A Feminist Guide To An Awesome Womanhood

The world needs feminists who are men and women committed to equal rights and opportunities for all human beings. We all will be the better for it. No society has fully succeeded through patriarchy nor will matriarchy be the panacea the whole world needs today. The world needs men and women who are committed to doing the right things always. Who are these people? You and I. This talk series will focus on women who are the often marginalized population in most societies.They are to whom I speak. Awesome Womanhood supports feminism. The two ideologies aren't rivals. Women needn't cast pearls before swine in order to get gain or lead the pack. They don't need that sort of connection that erodes their self-esteem and morals in order to gain an advantage. Yes, compromise is sine qua non to human co-existence and co-habitation. Awesome women are choice individuals capable of calling the shots without men. They work well with wholesome men - men who are equally committed to a wholesome society. They are not promiscuous, covetous and do not seek vainglory. They are brilliant, kind and confident. They make choices caring about their natural consequences. They belong to all walks of life and have diverse worldviews. They are single and married women.

We are human beings negotiating an existence with the world every day. We make choices that advance our progress or defer our achievements. These events do not occur in a vacuum, we are the machines propelling our lives but we aren't doing that alone. Other people's decisions, with good intentions or not, affect us. We mustn't dance to every tune of the music nor let the wind blow us to every clime of the earth. We must wield the right forces to have the kind of life we desire. It isn't rocket science, which by the way hasn't come within the reach of many a poor woman as a vocation or career. Advancement and advocacy in STEM and now STEAM  have encouraged women to embark on journeys ordinarily reserved for fearless human beings, the menfolk. More on that later.

I have entitled this talk series WIELD 2 LEAD: A Feminist Guide To An Awesome Womanhood. Why? I'm trying to evoke power, conjure fearlessness, drum up support for independence that begets interdependence in everybody especially the womenfolk. I hope that I haven't got the preacher's pretentiousness nor a chip on my shoulder. I'm not interested in giving away my love of independent thinking by me or by you so easily to undeserving elements. Take all I'm going to say into a sieve and return what you need into a safe container. WIELD and LEAD are words in the English dictionary. They are also acronyms. Those who are going to use this talk will learn the meanings subsequently in the full text.
