80+ Dangers and Manifestations of the Cabal

Here are 80+ dangers and manifestations of the cabal in my life since childhood. These manifestations had been troubles and problems that I've had over the years without realizing that a vicious spy system was responsible for them. Now, grown and still grappling with this evil contract called Nigeria, I've come to see the group(s) manifested in many ways. The list isn't endless. I had started with 40 things but as I thought through my life, its hurdles and the many difficulties I've had to grapple with, I've populated the list to 80+. You are welcome to add to it. I'd like you to know that there are nuances and similarities in these things. There are networks and syndicates all intertwined and with the sole purpose to disrupt my life and equilibrium. That they are succeeding too much is why I've decided to bite the bullet and come out here warts and all. We must put a stop to the cabal in our personal, community and social lives. The cabal is evil; it affects every aspect of our existence. It has crippled my finances, endangered my life, left me loveless and paranoid. And sincerely, it's hard not to carry on this way - the system rewards criminals and Nigerians are very much on that list.

  1. Corruption: This is the umbrella word that describes dishonest and illegal activities. Corruption is a word that we throw around each day. The acts of corruption that the cabal uses include bribery (in order to have one's way and stall others' progress, embezzlement of government funds, hiding employment opportunities, etc). The cabal wants power so they give and take in order to broker it anybody who's on the receiving end of the deal wants the system to continue.
  2. Nuisance value: The cabal pays well for nuisance value. It plants people in various places where they disturb the peace for the manifestation of their ploys. This system of rewarding evil allows the country to wallow in poverty while enriching the elite. The cabal allows nuisance to topple governments and bring them closer to the realization of their plots to usurp authority.
  3. Secret combinations: Your friends are the target of the cabal. They use your associates to plan against your welfare. These associates begin to keep secrets from you and in no time, the cabal turns your friends into their own friends by rewarding them nuisance and all. You lose company and your life becomes dejected. Many people have lost their lives due to this strategy of the cabal.
  4. Character assassination/defamation: The cabal is interested in destroying every credibility their target has. It runs networks that destroy your image and use them to change your persona. They rewrite your history by tagging you to every evil that's done in your vicinity. Your good reputation threatens their peace and members of the cabal work hard at calling you black.
  5. Lack of respect: The cabal ridicules every achievement of yours and turn every feat into a breach. Unfortunately, the high level of illiteracy in the Nigerian society feeds this disenchantment with genius.
  6. Fraud/racketeering: Crime drives the strategy and economy of the cabal. The group employs every crime under the earth and thrives on earning its living on illegal activities. It loves 'blood money.'
  7. Bullying: The cabal frightens people whom it believes are weaker than its members. If you don't succumb to its antics, it resorts to the use of violence. The cabal stops at nothing until it has taken up political power.
  8. Insecurity: Due to its use of force or violence, the cabal causes insecurity. It's likely to use violence than dialogues, intrigue than diplomacy. It has caused the insecurity in the North East. It has caused the riots in Jos, Plateau State. It's the reason Igbo people are insecure everywhere. Igbo people have further intensified their own insecurity with their allegiance to the cabal for love of money and security.
  9. Favouritism: This non existent word in the English dictionary suggest the engagement of a person or persons by the authority, which adheres to the whims of the cabal even if they are unqualified. Facts don't matter here, what matters is allegiance and preference. This hurts the civil society and feeds the illicit society and its economy.
  10. Complacency: The cabal feeds off of laziness or reluctance in controlling the affairs of the state. An organization that is reluctant to call people to order is rooting for the cabal. This is where I found AFCS, Ibadan very disgusting. There were cliques all over the place. Of course, it was normal for people to agree according to personal preferences but when this got overboard and the authority failed to call people to order, it led to bad feelings on some fronts. Complacency is the feeling of satisfaction with oneself or one's achievements. It results in reluctance to effect change in the system because of what the status quo satisfies.
  11. Double standard: The cabal rewards its members. Double standard speaks of not employing the same standards in judging events and people. This group wants to usurp political power and sees events through its own standard and makes scapegoat of some people  and others sacred cows.
  12. Red tape/bureaucracy: The cabal is everywhere, in civil service, in the family, in social clubs, in the school system, everywhere you go they are there making sure that progress is thwarted. They are the enemies of progress of the civil society. They ensure that rules in the system are employed to stunt progress of the organization and reward its members only. For instance, towards the of my NYSC at the Air Force Comprehensive School, Ibadan in 2005 I had a disagreement with my head of department. I was away from the language laboratory that housed the language teachers and corps members. I had gone to get breakfast. We were all at the assembly ground by 6:30am each morning and breakfast happened afterwards. I returned to the laboratory to discover that red pens meant for marking examination scripts had been shared. I asked for my own and the French corps member, the over aged Mabel Ezeobi informed me that Mr Olufemi gave hers to her and didn't leave mine with her. I asked around to find him under the almond tree. He had the red pens in his hand. I asked if he would give the pen to me to commence marking of the scripts that I had. He told me that he would only give out the pens in the laboratory that he wouldn't under the tree. He had been for several minutes before I went out to meet him and not knowing how long he was going to sit there I thought it wise to accost him there. We had a bitter disagreement afterwards. I didn't understand the difficulty in handing what he had in his hand to me. Clearly, I wasn't a member of his team and it was really a bad place to be. There were other instances of such reluctance to be responsible. Was that they way of the Yoruba? I didn't remain to find out.
  13. Lack of transparency: The cabal wants people to fail. It doesn't want progress for everybody and employs every opportunity to ruin people's career prospects. I was employed to work in the Local Government Service of Abia State since last year. I was asked to swear to an agreement of secrecy to keep matters of the commission secret. We were told that we would be given an orientation on how the service worked. Till date no orientation has been conducted. It appears that there's a group that gets information from their bosses, sponsors or godfathers to carry on in the service. The cabal is with me everywhere, causing confusion and trouble for me everywhere.
  14. Promiscuity: This is the act or state of having multiple sexual partners, according to the dictionary. It's also the act of having interest in multiple endeavours in the society. The cabal needs promiscuity to drive its prostitution ring. It needs men and women who are happy to fix themselves into the lives of many people. It's not a mean feat for a virgin.
  15. Entitlement: The cabal feels entitled to the state resources. It controls allocation, it decides who's appointed into positions. The cabal at AFCS, Ibadan either fed Theresa and Nanzing the idea that they were invincible or they liked the trait from the duo. Entitlement was the only reason Theresa would ask for Nanzing Wuyep's allowance for nearly a year and got it. Talk of Double Portion, abi. This cabal sef.
  16. Heresy: The cabal has opinions that are at odds with societal beliefs. The cabal things it's okay for the 'monkey dey work, baboon dey chop' system. This informs a system where the worker isn't rewarded/paid while the mistress goes on a shopping spree. Heretics work for the cabal. They are the ones who don't believe that NYSC has ended after the passing out parade. They are a nuisance who don't see the world the way it ought to be. The AFCS, Ibadan cabal are this way. They don't follow rules. They engage people who weren't mobilized by institutions and force/impose them on other corps members.

There are over 100 of these dangers and manifestations of the cabal in my life in particular in the Nigerian society in general. I hope to populate and explain 110 of these secret plots in the family, church, community, society and even in the global community. The times are desperate and it appears that the evil are winning every day. Cabals use government machinery such as the NYSC to perpetrate their crimes. Their intent is to steal, kill and destroy everybody who poses a threat to their power. They are power hungry and power drunk harlots. Many have been victims of these malicious and vindictive plots to kill National Youth Service Corps members to take up their lives/identities even if abroad. In retrospect, I think I survived my NYSC place of primary assignment because those crazy people thought my life would be more beneficial to them. Now, why they are helping anybody acquire an education during NYSC and not through JAMB and the higher institutions, I know not. Perhaps they were too old to have gone to school? Nobody from the NYSC secretariat visited our place of primary assignment, probably because the men in the office didn't want them to see what was going on. It would destroy their plots.

The plots are unisex, men help their baby mamas to all sorts of devices these days. Women help men with all sorts of ploys. They used aliases to hide their power tactics and theft. Beware of connecting people through phone calls. You don't know who made sure to serve in the same place of primary assignment as you. Why Nigeria has degenerated to this point of societal rot I don't know. We cannot talk of eradicating corruption in our lives and in the Nigerian society without eradicating the culture of winning secretly where there were no rules. When men and women who are supposed to defend the integrity of this country choose to destroy it instead, I think that it's about time that we talked about our common existence. It's not unity when Yoruba aid Benin to steal from Igbo or Hausa is aided to kill Igbo or Benin or Efik. That people across ethnic groups are able to work together to do crime is not basis to call such UNITY. Even Igbo stealing from Igbo with the Yoruba enabled government machinery is evil and disunity. If Igbo and Yoruba kill Yoruba, it ain't national unity, it's a conspiracy. QED. The cabals must die!
